Kit includes a 12” diameter interlocking kettlebell mold with 1 steel DA Kettlebell Handle, modeled after a competition kettlebell handle.
Sized to create kettlebells weighing between 20 and 70lbs*. Add steel DA Kettlebell Handle** fixed with nail anchors, tape mold shut, place handle side down in bucket and pour concrete to your desired weight and let cure***. Remove kettlebell, wipe out the mold and repeat. Label your final kettlebell weight on the inset rectangle spaces.
*While 20-70lb kettlebells can be attained with concrete only, you can also add steel in the concrete to increase the weight to ~100lbs.
**DA Kettlebell Handle comes as raw steel, you will need to sand and coat with oil or sealant prior to using to prevent rust.
***CURING: Concrete takes 24-48 hours to set. For optimal results, de-mold after this time and continue letting your kettlebell cure. Most concrete mixes reach 70% of specified compressive strength after 7 days and full strength at 28 days.
